A country famous for producing philosophers, scientists, and poets…we offer you our take on a Greek Salad!

With the weather warming a healthy, hearty salad is always a winner. Our version of a Greek salad is simple to create, and super quick making it a great accompaniment to any BBQ, fish, chicken or turkey.

Ingredients:

Ripe tomatoes

Cucumber

Celery

Pepper

Red onion

Avocado

Feta cheese

Olives

Dressing:

Olive oil, red wine vinegar and season to taste. Crumble feta cheese on top and enjoy!

Benefits:

Tomatoes provide vitamin C and A

Avocado can help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Cucumbers are a healthy source of potassium

Celery contains folate and rich in vitamin K.

Red onion provides additional vitamin A and C as we’ll as a small amount of fibre.

Olives offer a healthy source of unsaturated fat.

Feta cheese adds a bold flavour, but is also a nutritious topping – just use moderately!
