ABOUT US
LRG Fitness – named after our own children, was a concept originally thought through and turned into a reality over five years ago. As the business has evolved to include LRG On Demand, our principles and core values have remained steadfast. ‘Exercise Normalised’ and to deliver a solution to help improve and maintain physical and mental wellbeing for individuals and families alike. By offering a choice of guided workouts suitable for everyone, regardless of age or fitness levels, inclusivity remains at the heart of everything we do.
We are a husband and wife team who initially met at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, some 25 years ago. Having both played and performed within our chosen sports to a high level, has meant we have always maintained an enthusiasm for personal fitness, sport and exercise. We feel privileged now to be to able channel that same passion and enthusiasm into LRG.
Nina
As a young girl, I was never too far away from a gymnasium and was fortunate enough to travel to many countries representing Britain through my gymnastics club.
After graduating from University with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation I worked for a year with the Metropolitan police assisting the injured officers to return back to full fitness. Prior to travelling around the world with Ben, I hung up my leotard for the last time, having become British Sports Aerobic Champion. In-between having two children I have been a personal fitness trainer and life style advisor for the last 25 years.
Ben
Having enjoyed success as an all-round sportsman, successful athlete and YTS footballer, I graduated from University with a Sports Science degree and a Personal Training qualification.
After spending a year backpacking around the world with Nina, I then spent the majority of my working career within the corporate world. Since becoming a Dad, my real focus and passion is around activity levels and diet for children. If LRG Fitness can offer families the chance to improve either of these, then that, without doubt, will have been my biggest achievement to date.
