Back to Fitness Programme (started out doing the regular workout with my husband)

On the B2F Programme about 10 weeks.
REASONS FOR JOINING?
Before I had my son (now 3) I had been an avid runner and cycled to and from work everyday. A change of job and a new baby meant that I found it hard to get out and exercise. My fitness levels dropped as a result, which affected my mood as well as my weight. My husband found out about LRG at his work place, and as he was also feeling less fit we decided to give it a go. I would join in with him and loved that the work outs were short and could be done any time without having to leave the house.
A few months ago I went through a busy period at work and fell out of the routine of doing LRG every week. Watching my husband I no longer felt I could keep up with the programme, and although my husband kept encouraging me to get back into it I felt too anxious about not being able to keep up.
Then my husband told me about the Back to Fitness programme that Ben and Nina were starting. After umming and ahhing, and a lot of encouragement from hubby(!) I decided to give it a go.
RESERVATIONS ABOUT JOINING?
I was nervous about keeping up, even with the B2F programme. I thought even the basics would be too much for me to manage. My job is full on and quite erratic, plus I do the majority of childcare for our son, so I wondered how on earth I was going to fit it all in. With the B2F programme I was instantly put at ease, it was an gentle introduction and I was encouraged that I could do everything that Ben and Nina were doing. Although there are still weeks when I struggle to fit LRG in, I can generally fit in a workout either first thing in a morning or (more likely!) after little one has gone to bed. It’s much easier to fit in around family and work life than a gym membership.
I can see a huge difference in fitness levels – I can move faster and feel stronger in myself. My husband commented recently that I was following more of Ben’s level, which I wouldn’t have been able to do before. Unlike other prerecorded workouts the weekly change means there’s always something new to look forward to, and Ben and Nina present each exercise clearly with realistic differentiation where appropriate.
My husband and I adore Ben and Nina – their personality and dynamic really makes LRG. The personal touches such as the handwritten postcards really make a connection and makes us feel like we’re not just customers but valued individuals.
