REASONS FOR JOINING?
I wanted something to supplement the weekly running that I do – but that focussed more on strength and conditioning and all round fitness rather than just always using “running” muscles.
RESERVATIONS ABOUT JOINING?
Because it was a 12 week block, I didn’t have a concern about whether or not I would use it in the long term – but like anything new, it was just the unknown that I wasn’t sure about.  Unknown in terms of whether or not it would be the right type of exercise for me and also how varied it would be.
RESULTS/BENEFITS?
Any reservations were quickly put to bed…. The structure of the sessions is such that there are different options that you can consider.  I don’t like to have exercises that are high impact and it’s always clear from the narrative which options are the lower impact and which are higher.  In addition – every week is different, so you could never get bored.  I didn’t have a target to aim for in terms of what I was trying to achieve from it, other than to feel healthier – and that was certainly achieved.  The additional routines for abs and with resistance bands were also very well received.  In short if you’re after a training programme that is interesting, varied and adaptable – and that you can do when you want to do it and not when a timetable dictates – LRG is for you.
ANYTHING ELSE?
Ben and Nina couldn’t be more helpful.  We’ve had to have breaks in the programme as a result of holidays – and also have had questions to ask every now and then – and they couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.  Looking forward to the next phase!
