Tabata training is attractive because it saves a lot of time for people but can deliver some impressive results. It offers the maximum benefit with the least amount of time used to get those results. The name Tabata comes from the man who invented it – Dr. Izumi Tabata, a Japanese physician and researcher. Tabata is an equation: 20/10 x 8 = 4. The 20 stands for seconds of work, the 10 stands for seconds of rest, and the eight represents the number of rounds performed. The sum of the equation equals four minutes of intense exercise.

Tabata adheres to the LRG principles of seeking innovative and forward-thinking ways of training, whilst remaining true to our values. We provide our take on this super flexible form of exercise with entry and advanced options offered for each exercise, allowing for a range of fitness levels and abilities to benefit. More Tips & Advice

Children and young people should take part in activities appropriate for their age and stage of development. Based upon the LRG principle of offering a workout that aims to cater for a wide range of fitness levels and abilities, our Active Youth workouts will help ensure that the entire family improve their activity levels. More than ever, people are talking about mindfulness. When we’re mindful, we reduce stress, enhance performance, gain insight and awareness, and increase our attention to others well-being. With a range of static and flowing movement patterns, afford yourself the time to tune into the present moment rather than reliving the past or imagining the future. More Tips & Advice

Barre helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture. It also increases cardiovascular endurance and metabolism, which helps to burn calories. The mental benefits of barre are similar to yoga and Pilates, as it effectively increases mind-body awareness and mental clarity. The LRG barre method uses your own body weight and light weights for resistance with an emphasis on small, deliberate movements that focus on specific groups of muscles. So, if you’re seeking an intense but low-impact workout that will offer quick results, then you’ve arrived at the right place. More Tips & Advice

Creating flexibility with strength (aka mobility) has numerous benefits. It can help you avoid injuries, protect your joints from wear and tear and improve your workouts. Flexibility and mobility are key components to the health of an individual yet they’re often overlooked. Many people tend to focus on other important pieces of healthy living such as diet and exercise instead, and allow flexibility and mobility to fall to the wayside. Focusing on well-known problem areas, our series of short routines and drills will help reduce pain, increase range of motion and encourage you to move freely and easily without stress on the body.More Tips & Advice
